Super tasty TexMex style Mexican food in a relaxed, fun family-friendly environment. Chips and salsa arrive when you sit down and honestly the salsa is truly addictive! Spicy but not hot, just the right amount of flavors from the tomatoes and onions and cilantro. I had a grilled vegetable burrito packed with peppers, mushrooms, and onions. The refined beans are perhaps the best I’ve tasted, and the fresh jalapenos on top brought it all together. My dad had a breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs and potatoes and covered with cheese and refried beans. We both loved the food and the wait staff was friendly and easy going. I’d recommend any of their mothers Virginia locations for a great TexMex style Mexican dinner! Plenty of options for vegans (me), vegetarians, and meat eaters.
Had never actually eaten in the restaurant before today; had always done carry-out. It was a nice experience! Chill, relaxed, very family-friendly, and satisfying food. Exactly what we needed for an impromptu family lunch.
I’ve gotten breakfast burritos from here many times and they have been AMAZING. I’ve had the bacon & sausage burritos the most often and they never let me down. The prices for the burritos are good for their size. All of my orders have been carry out. I call about 15 minutes prior to pick up and have gotten my food within minutes of walking in the door. The staff have always been professional and friendly as well. The parking lot can probably get crowded on busy nights since it is a bit small but I have had no issues with breakfast carry out!

Anita’s offers outdoor dining, indoor dining, and pickup services. They gave us chips with salsa to start with. We ordered (3 tacos) with shredded beef from Express menu. Also, we got Empanada platter with beef came with rice and beans and a Red chili cup. The Tres amigos was a big hit that has a combo of chicken, beef, veggies, and taco served with rice and beans. Our waiter was such a nice and patient person. He explained the meals and answered our questions nicely. My family and I enjoyed the dinner and we will visit it again.
Pull up breakfast burrito counter priced right. Lovely counter associate who let us know about the steak fajita special this week not on menu for 4! and to call ahead for empanadas and pupusas as those are made to order and take fifteen minutes to prepare. Yes to breakfast burritos that are served all day. They are a sloppy happy mess. Also they open EARLY. Earlier than everyone else. Banging looking smoothies for 3.95! These are fast food prices but much better than you would get at the Bell or McDees.
I love this place. And all Anita's restaurants! Their takeout is awesome and very reasonably priced. The El Zorro in either ground beef or chicken are the best deals in the DMV. 2.40. You can't beat it. All their breakfast burritos and everything else are incredible. I never eat in the restaurant. Got to their takeout, you won't be disappointed. Oh, and the jumbo or dinner burrito . Will add some pictures!
